Our Exciting News
After four years of building into our local church, Christ Community Church, and after many prayers that God would confirm both internally and externally the call to ministry, Ben has been accepted to the Sovereign Grace Ministries Pastor’s College in Gaithersburg, Maryland, starting this August.

I am so excited for and proud of my husband, who has, by God’s grace, grown so much since the day we decided to stay at Christ Community in order to serve the church we have grown to love so dearly. Ben has grown in godliness in so many ways, but I wanted to share just a few that have been such an enouragment and example to me.

Benjamin loves the Lord more passionately than before, desiring to please Him in all things. His worship to the Lord has grown in passion and sensitivity towards the moving of the Spirit. He truly loves the Lord.

Benjamin loves to tell people about the Lord and what He has done for him by dying on the cross for his sins. He is well aquainted with his sin and his need for a Savior, and rejoices that God has given him a Savior through Christ’s death and ressurection. Benjamin has grown in boldness in sharing this Truth with others.

Benjamin loves his family. Madelyn, Anderson, and I are often the recipients of such specific care and affection. We are constantly in his thoughts and prayers and he directs our thoughts to the Lord so effectively.

There is so much more I could share about what God is doing in Ben’s heart. I look forward to continuing to share how God is changing us as we go through the adventure that will be the Pastor’s College experience.

Please pray for us as we await many of the details regarding housing, finances, etc. We know that, as in the past, our God will provide in ways that exceed our expectations; over and above what we deserve. We will be keeping you updated on all that God is doing in our lives through this experience!
